The new album ‘This Moment’ received a four-star review in The Times.
Chris Pearson writes: “The original albums’ acoustic guitars have become electric, often synthesised, and McLaughlin uses them as much to create soundscapes as solos. These effects can act as a backdrop for the other artists, such as on Mohanam, where the guitar shimmers behind Shankar Mahadevan’s vocal.”
