Nguyên Lê / Gary Husband Duo

Individually celebrated worldwide for their virtuosity and lyricism, their openness to new musical forms and ideas, and their relentless pursuit of inventive expression, these two genre-defying artists come together to combine their unfettered imagination in this exciting new musical collaboration.

Drawing on their eclectic and multi-faceted experience and influences, the project unites Paris-born Nguyên Lê (Herbie Hancock, Ray Charles, Orchestre National de Jazz, Peter Erskine, Trilok Gurtu, Ornette Coleman, Dhafer Youssef) on guitar, bass and electronics, his Vietnamese heritage permeating his wholly unique sound, and Yorkshire-born Gary Husband (John McLaughlin & The 4th Dimension, Allan Holdsworth, Billy Cobham, Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce, Level 42, Al Jarreau) equally masterful on both drums and keyboards.

Creative improvisation lies at the heart of their music and their seemingly telepathic interplay reveals a chemistry that genuinely connects these two artists. Together they seamlessly fuse their sounds into a rich, compelling, dynamic and ever-evolving mix.
